Will Hogan


 

Will Hogan has been in and around the music business since his early teens. A self taught musician he started playing with top-forty bands in social clubs in the UK back in the mid sixties.  During the seventies he built a good reputation and following when he fronted his own progressive rock band, Azel. Although coming close Azel never landed that elusive record deal and when punk rock broke in the UK the band split up.

Will drifted through many bands after that but never had the success of the seventies. Eventually taking a job with a software company in Holland he gave up serious playing for a few years. On returning to the UK to work for another software company he spent most of the nineties travelling the world but somehow managed to build his studio and record his solo albums. Recently Will spent a few years living and working in the US but he is back in the UK now playing with Red Aztek (www.redaztek.com).
